I have gambled on millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of funds at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the casino.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
