I have wagered on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a couple of months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
