I have bet on countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you notice betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first $10 wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
