I have enjoyed millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
